The AUASB has commenced the process of modernising Guidance Statement GS 016 Bank Confirmation Requests, reflecting the wide spread adoption of third-party electronic confirmation systems and processes now in use.
A project plan and agreement of issues to be addressed will be presented at the upcoming April AUASB Meeting.
