Valerie Clifford

Valerie is currently the Assurance partner in the Risk and Quality group at PricewaterhouseCoopers, which includes responsibility for audit methodology, risk management and quality control.

Valerie has 21 years experience in the auditing profession, with both audit clients and in an internal risk and quality role.  She joined PwC in 1989 in the Birmingham (UK) office, moving subsequently to Southampton, and Kuala Lumpur, where she had an Asia Pacific regional role.  She moved to Melbourne in 2000.

Valerie is the Australian representative on the PwC Global Audit Reporting Group, the taskforce responsible for providing direction and comment to the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board.  She served on the CPA Australia Financial Reporting and Governance Centre of Excellence from 2002 to 2006.

Valerie is married with three children.
