David is a Partner at Ernst & Young with thirty years of professional audit experience at Ernst & Young and predecessor firms.

Throughout his career David has specialised in auditing companies in the technology, media, property and funds management sectors and has been responsible for the audit of Australian listed companies, including co-ordinating the global audits of their overseas subsidiaries, and Australian subsidiaries of large multinational organisations. David spent three years as Director of the Ernst & Young practice in Jakarta, Indonesia where he was also responsible for auditing the Indonesian subsidiaries of several other multinational clients.

David has also been involved in the development of Ernst & Young’s “global audit methodology” and is currently a member of Ernst & Young Australia’s Accounting and Audit Policy Committee, which is responsible for establishing policy and guidance on professional and regulatory matters pertinent to the firm's Australian audit practice.
